Procedure

Medical examinations are by advance reservation only.
Please follow the steps below for arranging your medical examination.

STEP1: Preparing your appointment
We will need the following information on the phone
  • Required medical certificates
    * Required examinations must be confirmed by applicants. If you are unsure which certificate you need, please refer to the NZ Immigration website.
  • Your valid passport
  • Departure date
  • Type of visa
  • Contact number
  • Your Immigration New Zealand reference number such as NZER and NZHR if issued.
    * If it is not issued, we will create one.

Cautions
  • We endeavor to submit your medical electronically within 7 -14working days.
  • If you are required to have any further tests, it might need longer time for your medical to be submitted.
  • Females are advised not to schedule their medical examination during their menstruation period.
  • If you are pregnant or at risk of becoming pregnant, make sure to let us know in advance.
  • Minors (Under 18yrs) must be accompanied by their parent or by a legal guardian.

STEP3: Submitting a registration form online

* Please make an appointment by telephone before submitting a registration form.
* An online registration form must be submitted within 48hours of booking.
STEP4: On the day of the medical examination

You must present your original passport on the day of the medical examination.
You may not be able to have a medical examination if you forget to bring the followings or if you are late for the examination.
Please call us if you will be late.。

What to bring
  • Your valid passport ( A copy is not acceptable.)
  • Your glasses or contact lenses if you use them (For applicants having General/Limited Medical)
  • Any specialist reports in English pertaining to your health ( if you have any.)
    Required items in a report.
  • A mother-child handbook for under 3yrs (if capable.)
We will take a photo of you.

Glasses, coloured contact lenses, hats or a mask must be taken off for a photo.

For applicants having General/Limited Medical
  • Drink a lot of fluid for urinary test. Only water allowed. (Only for General Medical)
  • Please do NOT eat from 3.5 hours before the reserved time for blood test. (Only for General Medical)
  • Blood tests are not required for applicants under 15yrs.
  • Urinary test is not required for children under 5yrs
  • Females having a menstruation on the day of the examination must change your appointment. Please call us for rebooking. (Only for General Medical)
  • Come in a light clothing as you will need to change clothes.(You may be allowed to wear underwear under the gown.)

Information Sheet which contains your Immigration New Zealand reference number will be provided at the end of the exam.
You should provide the Information Sheet to Immigration New Zealand when you submit your visa application.

STEP5: Test results are submitted to Immigration New Zealand through eMedical by our panel doctor.
  • Test results will not be provided to applicants.
  • We will contact you by phone if a significant health condition is identified.
  • You may be asked to come back in for further tests. There may be additional charges.
